Essential Duties:

Safely operate a Hiab truck with a lifting capacity of 17 tons to transport and deliver loads to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Hiab truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
Secure loads properly on the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Operate the Hiab crane to lift and position heavy loads with precision.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating the Hiab truck.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including load information, mileage, and any incidents.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform routine maintenance on the Hiab truck and crane to ensure they are in good working order.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

Valid commercial driver\\\'s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a Hiab driver operator, preferably with a 17-ton capacity truck.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (Dover test).
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
Ability to operate a Hiab crane safely and efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
