Duties:

Operate a Hiab truck with a lifting capacity of up to 50 tons to transport heavy loads to designated locations.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Hiab truck to ensure its safe operation and compliance with regulations.
Secure loads properly on the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent shifting during transportation.
Operate the Hiab crane with precision to lift and position heavy loads as required.
Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating the Hiab truck.
Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of loads.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including load information, mileage, and any incidents.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Perform routine maintenance on the Hiab truck and crane to ensure their proper functioning and longevity.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Assist other team members as needed and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy vehicles.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (Dover test).
Proven experience as a Hiab driver operator, particularly with a 50-ton capacity truck.
Exceptional driving skills and a thorough understanding of road safety regulations.
Proficiency in operating a Hiab crane and handling heavy loads with precision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
