We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Accounts / Finance to contribute to the financial health and growth of ISMMART Group of Industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, highlighting trends and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections.
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Play a key role in the annual audit process and liaison with auditors.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Participate in strategic planning by providing financial expertise and recommendations.
- Accurate reporting of all accounting transactions (Vouchers /recording of entries/ statements/ daily cash requirements).
- Reconciling general ledger and sub ledger accounts to source data and to ensure that all transactions have been accurately recorded.
- Reconciling the Inter-company accounts and supporting the local teams in monthly clearance of balances.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts and supporting cash management for various entities within the group.
- Preparation/checking of payment batches.
- Bank Reconciliation Statements on daily basis.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
