We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager Accounts to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in double-entry bookkeeping, financial statement preparation including cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets. The candidate must be capable of working independently, ensuring data security, executing tasks as directed by the CEO, and have hands-on experience with withholding tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements including cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other team members to streamline financial processes and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide support during audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Handle withholding tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes efficiently.
  • Record the accounting transactions in accounting software.
  • Preparing and Analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices
  • Involve in month end reviews and financial closing of various clients
  • Present the clients financials statements to the client and management on monthly basis
  • Ensure that staff members are working effectively and efficiently and meet the daily targets assigned to them for each client
  • Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts
  • Providing regular updates to management regarding the status of work done for clients
  • Maintain the time record of each staff member and work done for each client
  • Ensure that the reports are shared with the clients as per the agreed scope of work
  • Assisting the senior leadership team in monitoring the effectiveness of Accounting services delivered, providing feedback and reflection on the quality of service accordingly
  • Proficiency in working on Accounting software and working level knowledge of MS office
  • Supervise the staff in filling data in Federal, Provincial / FBR sales tax returns
  • Verify and submit all monthly sales tax returns. Perform other duties as required.
  • A Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the CEO.

Requirements:

  • An MBA in Finance or equivalent degree in accounting and finance.
  • Candidates with ACCA qualification are highly desirable.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Ms. Excel.
  • Required 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in construction and real estate sectors.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial statements preparation and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
