Shall have experience of design, installation, and commissioning of Low Voltage Switchgear & MCC’s, Medium Voltage Switchgear & MCC’s, AC & DC UPS systems, Transformer Systems, Power Management Systems, VFD & Soft starters.
Review the Project RFQ and ensure that the project scope is executed in line with the Company requirements
Validate the supplier technical submittals and confirm compliance to project specifications.
Draft the Scope of work for contractors and ensure the scope of work is fully confirmed by the contractor before the award of the contract to contractor.
Capable to self-generate Bill of materials and specifications, development of engineering estimation and basis, Identification of any exclusions, review of vendor quotations/offers, raise required clarifications and close technical evaluation with the customer and vendor.
Work with the Head office team for development of detailed schedule and progress trackers for different phases of the project (engineering, construction, testing & commissioning).
Ensure that all electrical installations on the project align with company and project standards such as IECs, ATEX and NFPA etc, instructions, and specifications.
Ensure that all assigned projects are delivered with high-quality deliverables as per schedule, within the scope, and within budget.
Understand and confirm to all contractual (commercial and technical) requirements of the project.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Formulate and maintain design and as-built documentation for all electrical systems within projects.
Implement newer technologies and upgrade current electrical systems for improved performance and efficiency.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for electrical and instrumentation works, focusing on Bulk Oil Terminal projects and Retail Outlets/ Service areas.
Evaluate electrical and instrumentation equipment technically, and maintain communication with vendors for technical clarification.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that installations are compliant with design documents and safety standards.
Monitor the progress of the project and ensure that it’s completed within the specified timeline and adheres to design and safety standards.
Review and approve interim and final payment certificates from contractors, ensuring that work completed meets contractual and technical expectations.
Participate in regular meetings with contractors to evaluate progress, address project bottlenecks, and find solutions for smooth execution.
Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies during the project execution phase.
Review construction drawings for errors and omissions, and make necessary corrections at the project site as required.
Understand and confirm to all contractual (commercial and technical) requirements of the project.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
Review of Contractor resource availability and allocation on project tasks.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Prepare project plan/schedule using tools and manage it during the execution of the project.
Manage project procurement with the support of the Supply chain/procurement department.
Develop project quality plan and perform quality assurance as well as quality control.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Report and escalate to the management and End User/project stakeholders as needed
Perform project closure.
Observe Company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
