Role Purpose

· Implement NEOM Construction Skills Training procedures ensuring best practice and compliance to provide advice, guidance, and support to all personnel at all levels on all matters relating to the safe use of a variety of construction plant & equipment (MEWPs, Lifting Equipment etc). Use of a variety of training methods to ensure that training meets approving body standards (IPAF/LEEA etc).

· Development and implementation of further courses around MEWP and Lifting Equipment (IPAF & LEEA or equivalent) . Provision of training & assessment. internal auditing programs to meet NEOM corporate and project Health & Safety Assurance Standards and Safety Management System in the safe use of Construction plant & equipment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and deliver construction plant & equipment user training programs to employees at all levels of the organization. (IPAF, PASMA, LEEA, NPORS, CITB or equivalent)

· Manage approval body (IPAF, LEEA others) requirements for course records and certification.

· Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources for non-approval body certification courses.

· Coordinate with approval and certification bodies to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.

· Help schedule and facilitate training sessions, including classroom and online formats with third party expertise if required.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.

· Provide ongoing support to the Construction Skills and HSE Training teams by answering questions and providing additional resources.

· Stay up to date on industry best practices and regulations related to Construction Skills training.

· Collaborate with other departments to integrate skills training into their processes and procedures.

· Promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.

· Protect company interest and Zero Harm policies and protection of plant & equipment for users.

· Ensure continuous improvements in the use of construction plant & equipment at NEOM, ensuring competent use, maintenance, and storage, plus protection of those working in their vicinity.

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

· 3 Years of experience in Construction Skills Safety training with IPAF / LEEA, others

· Certification in a variety of HSE or Construction Skills plant & equipment training or relevant field, such as CITB / IPAF / PASMA / CISRS / LEEA .

· Demonstrated knowledge of all Safety and health standards, including construction, plant Safety, general industry, approval body and industry standards.

· Experience as a certified trainer/tutor/instructor in developing construction skills training and compliance programs, including the ability to conduct and facilitate training as required.

· Experience working with diverse teams and multicultural environments.

· Ability to effectively deliver training sessions to large groups.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Proficiency in using training software and learning management systems.

Qualifications

· Instructor / Trainer certification with Construction Skills Approvals bodies for subjects selected – e.g. IPAF/ LEEA / Others.
