An International NGO is currently seeking a Livelihood Officer having expertise of Livelihood program “Skill Development, IGA, HBB, BM and etc”. He/she will be responsible for looking after the implementation of the Livelihood project in field and will be the focal person for ongoing livelihood activities. The position will be based in Mardan with frequent travel to project locations Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Buner, Malakand, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Chitral, Haripur and Mansehra KP.

Objective 1: Ensure Smooth Implementation of the Livelihood Project

Activities:

Ensure efficient and effective implementation of Food Security, Livelihoods, Cash-based intervention, and related interventions at the community level.
Take the lead to sensitize the communities for livelihood enterprise development and business incubation.
Take the lead to sensitize the community for skill development training and linkages with other stakeholders.
Conduct the implementation of all activities, at the field level, as laid out in the plan of action.
Support beneficiary’s identification and selection processes together with the Project Team.
Organize and support the running of livelihood activities in the respective bases.
Assist in the registration of target families at the field to ensure data is collected and recorded within the livelihoods programming to be implemented.
Teams to ensure data is collected and recorded within the livelihoods programming to be implemented.
Identified livelihood beneficiaries for the Livelihood project as per project design with the support of the Project Manager.
Collect Market data from local shops and suppliers.
Contribute to the identification of suppliers for Voucher Programmes through a fair and transparent process.
Ensure activities are carried out as per DIP.
Conduct training and sensitization sessions for traders, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
Make field arrangements for planned visits to project locations.
Fully participate in vocational and business development training.
To ensure the quality and quantity of material provided to beneficiaries.

Objective 2: Coordination

Activities:-

Coordinate (or assist Base Livelihoods Teams in coordinating) activities with local authorities, international community members, other implementing actors and partners at the local level.
Keep close coordination with Community leaders.
Maintain coordination and appropriate information sharing and communication lines with partners and stakeholders at the field level to avoid duplication and maximize synergies.
Regularly monitor project activities and provide timely inputs and feedback to the Project office/Project Manager.

Objective 3: Reporting

Activities:

Timely submission of daily and weekly Progress updates to the Project Manager.
Compile and maintain proper record keeping of Project activities in hard files and soft databases.
Responsible for maintaining a record of internal and external communication including emails, letters, purchase requisitions, and other relevant documents.
Ensure compilation of data from the field on a daily, monthly, and periodic basis regarding the project.
Document success stories, case studies, and other reporting documents as required by the project manager.
