We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and skills in handling income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax, and will be proficient in creating challans, reports, deposits, and maintaining accurate data entry records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Management:

    • Prepare and file income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax returns accurately and timely.
    • Create challans and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.
    • Liaise with tax authorities and manage any tax-related inquiries or audits.
  • Financial Reporting:

    • Generate detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Data Entry and Record-Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Perform regular data entry tasks to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
    • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Deposits and Payments:

    • Manage the preparation and processing of deposits and payments.
    • Ensure all financial transactions are handled efficiently and accurately.
  • Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
    • Maintain organized and comprehensive documentation for all financial transactions and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in creating challans, financial reports, and managing deposits.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
