Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is working under the direct supervision of the M&E Officer, and technical guidance from the M&E Specialist, Polio Section Islamabad. The post is accountable for supporting the polio eradication initiative in Pakistan by providing professional expertise and assistance in information/data collection, statistics, and data analysis, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), preparation of reports, communication, and partnership, and in implementing training programs for national and sub-national data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and research capacity building with special attention to the interest, concern, and participation of primary stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the ME team in Islamabad in the data analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of the polio and ISD activities.
Support data analysis for regular reporting (KPIs, donor reporting, RAM reporting)
Support NEOC ME, data, and dashboard team as required.
Support research, assessment and evaluation managed by the ME team in Islamabad.
Support field monitoring including pre-intra and post-campaign.
Support the rollout of the Integrated COMNet Information Management System (ICIMS) in all provinces.

Essential Requirements:

An advanced university degree (Master’s or above) in statistics, project management, development planning, planning, evaluation, or social science.
A first university degree (Bachelor's) in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
Professional work experience in M&E, data management, project management, and implementation including monitoring and evaluation activities as follows:
A minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience.
Program implementation experience in health/immunization and polio eradication and fieldwork experience is desirable.
At least one instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning and active involvement in a humanitarian crisis response program preferred.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of the local provincial language is an added asset.
