M&P Express Logistics Pvt Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager of Operations to oversee our courier and logistics services. This role requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in supply chain management and logistics coordination. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 25 staff members, ensuring effective operations and continuous improvement of processes. You will play a critical role in optimizing our logistics strategies, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, coupled with at least two years of relevant logistics experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations within the courier and logistics department to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Lead and manage a team of 25 personnel, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Oversee the coordination of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to optimize operational performance.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of logistics operations.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners, clients, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Analyze current logistics processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage route optimization to ensure timely deliveries and minimize transportation expenses.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards within the logistics operations.
Provide administrative support, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation related to logistics activities.
Prepare and present operational reports to senior management with insights into logistics performance and improvement opportunities.
