NextBridge is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional with over seven years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of manual testing, defect tracking, and various testing methodologies, including performance testing and regression testing. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer expectations and industry standards. The SQA professional will work closely with development teams to identify risks, track defects, and implement testing strategies effectively. The position does not involve team management, allowing for a focus on individual expertise and contributions to quality assurance processes. In this role, the SQA professional will leverage strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify bugs and quality issues while developing and executing comprehensive test plans. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JUnit, TestRail, JMeter, and TestNG is essential for streamlining the testing process and enhancing productivity. At NextBridge, the SQA professional will play a fundamental role in fostering a culture of quality and continual improvement, contributing directly to the higher standards of software delivered to our clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
Perform thorough manual testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Utilize defect tracking tools to document and manage discovered issues effectively.
Conduct performance testing to assess system resilience and responsiveness under various conditions.
Implement regression testing strategies to confirm functionality remains intact after updates.
Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure testing aligns with Agile principles.
Engage in risk management practices to identify potential quality issues early in the development cycle.
Analyze testing outcomes and prepare comprehensive reports on testing results and quality metrics.
Participate in meetings with stakeholders to communicate testing progress and quality assurance findings.
Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in software quality assurance and testing tools.
