OPM is hiring COP for USAID Climate resilient water governance activity, the following skillset are required in the team leader

The Team Leader will be responsible for:

Leading the strategic direction of the programme, by drawing upon and coordinating input from technical leads and partners
Pro-active, responsive and productive leadership of all team members
Coordinating the effective delivery of the programme
Advising the team and partners on water governance issues and policy recommendations
Acting as the focal point for team’s relationship with USAID
Engaging with federal and provincial governments on water governance issues
Overall responsibility for developing the annual work plan, risk matrix and budget
Implementation and supervision of project quality control systems

The Team Leader will need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of:

Extensive professional experience in climate adaptation, water governance, policy reform, capacity building and international development projects,
Have a minimum 5 years as a Team Leader / Chief of Party
Experience in delivering USAID projects is an advantage
Pakistan experience, ideally in engaging with federal and provincial level governments, on water policy
Experience in applying IWRM, and ideally nature-based solutions, to address social and environmental sustainability

The Team Leader must have a Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline in water/environment/development. A Master degree or PhD would be an advantage
