Key Responsibilities:

Monitor Premises: Conduct security checks with an eye for detail, identifying potential threats and areas of concern.
Surveillance and Threat Detection: Utilize military-trained observation skills to monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, security alarms, and perimeter sensors. Respond to any unusual activity or unauthorized access.
Incident Response and Crisis Management: Apply military crisis management techniques to assess situations quickly, manage high-stress environments, and respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches.
Access Control and Security Procedures: Implement military-grade security protocols for access control, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Conduct ID checks and manage secure access points.
Conflict De-escalation and Communication: Utilize military communication techniques to effectively manage and de-escalate conflicts, ensuring peaceful resolutions while maintaining a secure environment.
Conducting Security Drills: Organize and participate in security drills and emergency response exercises, simulating military-style training to ensure readiness in real-world scenarios.
Report Writing and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all activities, incidents, and security-related events, with a clear and concise military-style reporting format.
Safety Protocols and Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections of premises, equipment, and security systems, ensuring compliance with military-grade safety standards.
Use of Military Equipment and Tactics: In some cases, utilize military-grade security tools and techniques, including communication devices, tactical awareness, and physical defense methods when required.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Military/army experience is essential, with preference given to candidates who have served in a law enforcement or security capacity within the army.
Experience: Prior experience as a military service member in roles related to security, law enforcement, or intelligence. Previous civilian security experience is a plus.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills developed through military service.
Advanced situational awareness and threat assessment abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and crisis-management skills.
Ability to operate under pressure, maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
Ability to handle sensitive or classified information with discretion.
Excellent communication skills, both in direct interactions and through reporting.
Physical fitness to conduct patrolling duties and respond to emergencies.

Working Conditions:

Shifts: Availability to work in the night shift, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands: Must be in excellent physical condition to perform duties such as patrolling, responding to incidents, and managing security protocols.
Environment: Work can be performed both indoors and outdoors in a variety of environments
Security Clearances: Some roles may require the security guard to maintain a military or government-level clearance, depending on the nature of the job and location.
