We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role focuses on expanding our client base through strategic business development initiatives, while also providing expert financial advisory and asset and investment management services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and key stakeholders.

Financial Advisory:

  • Provide personalized financial planning and advisory services to clients based on their financial goals and risk tolerance.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses and recommend suitable investment strategies and products.
  • Guide clients in estate planning, retirement planning, tax strategies, and other financial matters.

Asset & Investment Management:

  • Manage client portfolios and investments according to their individual financial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and economic indicators to make informed investment decisions.
  • Implement asset allocation strategies and rebalance portfolios as needed to optimize returns and manage risks.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and proactive communication.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and financial updates with clients to ensure alignment with their evolving needs.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and investment performance.
  • Prepare and deliver timely reports and presentations to clients and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • Experience as a Business Development Manager, Financial Advisor, or similar role in the financial services industry is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships based on trust, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
