Main Responsibilities:
- Determining business needs and evaluating existing infrastructure and systems.
- Manage Installation, configuration, and monitoring of the VMware infrastructure.
- Manage, configure, and support VMware NSX Networks.
- VMware fault tolerance and HA configurations·
- Troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues
- Provides technical support and documenting VMware processes.
- Windows & Linux Server Installation, Configuration, and Administration.
- SAN Switches Installation configuration, deployment, and management.
- Vulnerabilities Scanner Deployment and Monitoring.· DR Site preparation Server Rack mount, Installation, and configuration.
- Datacenter monitoring, new servers Rack mount, installation, and management.
- Manage, install, and maintain the health and capacity of Storage Systems (SAN).
- Maintain security and compliance on all data center systems.
- Configured Servers Like NFS, FTP, HTTPD, CIFS, NTP·
- Configuring and managing Linux SAMBA Server
- Management of Linux Services & Process
- Securing Linux with Firewall (Firewall-D, Iptables and UFW)·
- Managing Linux & Windows Storage and Partitions·
- Configuring and Managing PV’s, VG's and LVM`s·
- Auto Scheduling Linux Jobs with Crontab and bash scripting·
- Configuring Linux send mail and postfix MTA Server with SMTP relays along with monitoring SMTP logs and other smtp issues
- Configuring Nginx as a reverse proxy Configuring Nginx Cluster·
- Deployment for system maintenance as needed.·
- Implementation & management of PAM· Ivanti, Intune working experience for end point management·
- MS Defender & Symantec for end point protection· Backup management using Veeam & Data domain·
- Working with docker container and images·
- Writing docker file and deploying docker image with docker file·
- Working with docker-compose file.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:·
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineers, Computer Programming, or Similar.
- VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Windows & Linux Administrator preferred.·
- 6+ years’ experience in servers, storage, and virtualization·
- Proficiency in servers’ deployment, VMware ESXi, VRealize Operations, SAN, Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu, VMware Tanzu, VEEAM for back and recovery management, Tape Library·
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional analytical and technical aptitude.
- Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Pakistan Single Window
Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is an ICT-based system in Pakistan providing a single window for trade. PSW is a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents at a single-entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. If information is electronic, then individual data elements need to be submitted only once. PSW will connect relevant government departments with each other and with economic operators like importers, exporters, customs agents, shipping agents, transporters etc, in Pakistan for efficient management of cross border trade. It will provide the ease and transparency in achieving compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, through an on-line facility, that will intelligently handle the information for each transaction without the need to provide same information more than once or to physically visit such government departments. Pakistan has committed to implement various provisions of World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement that includes implementation of a National Single Window (NSW) system before February, 2022. Pakistan also needs PSW implementation to overhaul management of its external trade for reducing time, cost and complexity involved to improve its position in various global rankings on competitiveness and ease of doing business. Guiding vision and mission objectives: VISION: Pakistan will establish a world-class automated hub by 2022, offering services and creating efficiencies, to reduce cross border trade related costs, time and complications for improved trade facilitation and compliance. MISSION: Improve cross-border trader processing by providing centralized ICT based services, simplified processes, effective and reliable automation, harmonized data exchange and risk-based selectivity in enforcement of government’s regulations.
