1-Financial Operations Core Office
• Playing active role in implementation of Oracle ERP 11g by replacing Oracle 6i.
• Preparing SOP's for implementing from old system to new ERP system.
• Ensure the correct allocation of income and expenditures to relevant head of accounts and streamline the accounting of Letter of Credit.
• Ensure the closing of books of accounts on monthly basis and annual basis.
• Authorizing the JV’s, AP, AR, CPV and CRV on day to day basis.
• Ensure the month end adjusting entries of prepayments and other accruals for closing of books of accounts.
• Checking and approving payment vouchers as per the authority matrix.
• Monitoring the timely disbursement of payments and manage the availability of funds.
• Monitoring the accounts payable and analysis and follow up on payables and their ageing.
• Monitoring the account receivables ageing and ensure the timely collection.
• Ensuring the preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements on monthly basis.
2-Financial Reports
• Preparing the monthly and annual financial reports to the management.
• Forecast and manage cash flow statement, investment of available funds keeping in view on going operational and program requirements.
• Analysis of trial balance to ensure complete accounting of all transactions and budgetary controls for all cost centers including regional offices.
• Assist Director Finance/CFO in preparation of monthly management financial reports.
3-Dealing with Banks
• Day to day interaction with banks regarding receipt of bank statements on daily and monthly basis, taking DD’s for parties, real time gross settlement, online funds transfer, taking document of LC and monthly payment of leased vehicles.
• Annual renewal of credit facilities like running finance, letter of credit and letter of guarantee-general for SNGPL, HIT(advance and performance guarantee).
• Preparation of periodical financial statements as per latest IAS/IFRS and monthly management accounts in a SAP working environment.
• Handling all banking matters including remittances, arrangement enhancement financing facility etc.
• Corporate and secretarial work and ensuring timely submission of various forms/returns with SECP.
• Compliance with regulatory Bodies.
• Monitoring invoicing, payment and recovery.
• Compliance of sales tax/ Income Tax matters.
• Supervise E-filling of monthly/annual Income Tax Statements / Sales Tax Returns.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register by timely addition / deletion of assets.
• Coordination with Internal & External Auditors.
• Preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of cash flows and Statement of changes in equity) according to latest IAS / IFRS on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Reporting to management about business operations (leases, loans disbursed, recoveries of outstanding portfolio, branches expenses details etc.) on monthly basis.
• E-filling of monthly returns of Income Tax (Salary & Others) and Sales tax of FBR, PRA, SRB and KPRA.
• E-filling of monthly SECP & SBP returns of financial position and assist Company Secretary in secretarial matters.
• Reporting to management about cash inflows & outflows, banks position and review bank reconciliations.
• Handle portfolio of finance leases, operating lease and Loans disbursed.
• Monitor borrowings from banks, financial institutions and individual in shape of certificate of Musharkah & investment.
• Supervise the Income and Sales Tax matters.
• Reporting to Chief Executive Officer about Sale and Purchase transactions of Shares on daily basis and monitor share portfolio.
• Contracts of Oil & Meal with parties
• Handling of Dispatches to parties according to terms and conditions specified in contract
• Preparation of sale vouchers & Sales Tax invoices
• Collection from parties against sale of material
