A professional Psychologist having an experience in multiple organizations. I'm looking to work in an organization that will enable me to develop and practically apply my professional skills and academic knowledge for the benefit of an organization and for the society as a whole.
As a Psychosocial Counselor, my role emcompassed providing empathetic support to individuals affected by gender-based violence and children in need of protection. I conducted awareness session on mental health, fostering open dialogue and reducing stigma. Simultaneously, i engaged in research, wrote comprehensive reports and ensured regular progress reports. Additionally, i served as a masters trainer, equipping others to address these critical issues effectively.
As a Psycho-social Counselor, I was assigned to conduced awareness sessions regarding protection from flood, child protection and mental health in TLCs i.e. temporary learning centers and in schools during flood. Further, I was assigned to provide psychological services (counseling, therapies) to the children suffered from any kind of trauma/ violence, exploitation and abuse. Nature of cases usually were based on physical abuse, emotional/mental abuse, neglect / negligence and sextual exploitation. Session were taken depending on severity of children’s issues. Both host and refugee community were target population.
As a Psychosocial Officer at pediatric oncology unit, I was responsible to support social, psychological, child life care and end of life care services to the pateints of cancer. Moreover I was assigned to monitor mental health of parents or attendents of patients and provide them with services of counselling and therapies if needed.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the TEACH Project manager responsible for the overall management of 48000 students (girls), I was expected to look up for the psychological issues in districts, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Noshki, Kharan and Chaghi, lead the process of psychosocial support to the adolescent girls.
