Worked as a National Consultant for UNFPA to support Pakistan Bureau of Statistics in publishing District Census Report 2018 as a Sub-Editor. My main role and responsibility lies around coordinating with the team lead and lead editor regarding collection of relevant materials for census reports and to edit/collate the material received from the districts for DCR (District Census Report) that would be incorporated in the final national census and provincial report of 2018. Analyzing data, giving comparative analysis of census on different domains of consensus along with writing situational analysis comes under my domain as a sub-editor along with giving technical support and assistance to the Editor. I have currently produced district census report for Chitral, Loralai, Barkhan, Ziarat, Chakwal and Mardan. However, I am also responsible for all the coordination between the PBS Management and UNFPA and take the lead in writing provisions, progress and milestone reports that are periodically intimated and reportedto the Communication and technical staff of UNFPA from PBS

I was woking with Mishal pvt towards developing/researching and writing on the concept strategic communication on all SDG Goals and research identifying the gaps between various sectors in the social, economic and political spheres; creating media communications solutions according to the international benchmarks and indices. Taking this initiative to the next level I have been actively pursuing to build the capacity of the media in creating better understanding the issues in global perspective by effectively translating the media oriented cluster needs assessments into SDG-based national development strategy, in order for the goals to be consolidated into a single coherent long-term investment framework. In order to achieve that I have improvised research and strategic framework along with supervising and conducting capacity building trainings and by improving media narratives with different donor agencies to ensure that variables like education, health etc are set in accord with the Sustainable Development Goals.
I have also worked on developing media narratives towards achieving sustainable development goals, particularly SDG 2 eliminate hidden hunger and its communication model of growth and sustainability and impact in Pakistan with regards to growing urbanization. Therefore, my current role at Mishal lies in writing concept and research notes towards reporting and improving the narrative building through using different futuristic methodolgoies and models like Realtime Delphi on Nutrition and other issues like agronomics, soil fertility, ground water and waste management by applying the model of quad helix and engaging various stakeholders including press clubs, journalism associations, policy making institutes and academia across Pakistan. I rejoined Mishal’s another project Asia Institute of Public Policy a think tank in March 2017, after my fixed term ended with DAI-USAID (March 2017-October 2017)
