Job Duties & Responsibilities
 Extend support to business zone in implementation of framework on Occupational Health and Safety Management system and organizing OHS events and campaigns.
 Able to conduct specific JSA and technical risk assessments according to method statements and assist the site team in undertaking risk assessments and identifying safe systems of work to be prepared in safe work method statements.
 Assist Foreman in delivering Pre-Task Briefings to the workforce on the control measures identified in risk assessments and the safe system of work to be adhered to.
 Assist in Investigation of reported near-misses, incidents/accidents, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
 Responsible to check all the personnel at site for all required PPE’s and compliances.
 Help O&M technical team for required support in maintaining PTW, LOTO and monitors the work control registers are being maintained for all work activities.
 Develop and deliver internal training courses on HSE topics to the site team and deliver inductions to all new arrival employees/ visitors & sub-contractor workers.
 Collects, and prepares data for the monthly safety progress report and statistics on all field safety matters.
 Assist in Investigation of reported near-misses, incidents/accidents, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, determines root causes and measurers necessary to prevent a recurrence.
 Undertakes as a minimum a weekly safety inspection and prepares a report for submittal and review with the HSE team.
 Development and execution of regular emergency response training programs and emergency response drills to all field and well site based personal according to company training schedule.
 Support in access control and plant security in regard to people & vehicles movement, material & machinery/tools entering & exiting from site.
 Conduct daily /Weekly / Monthly inspections of all areas to ensure the implementation of HSE policies and practices.
 Conduct ISO audits and inform the management of any prospect of activity development and any potential direct or indirect problem for the company.
 Planning and supervision of the regular inspection and testing of all fixed firefighting equipment 
and other auxiliary equipment such as SCBA,SABA, Cascade system, fixed and portable gas monitoring system.
 Strong working knowledge of working safely in H2S environment, and training of personnel’s to work in hazardous gas environment
