I hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and 5 years of experience in Cardiology, Gynae, Paeds, and General Medicine. The last 3 years I have focused on the domain of Cardiology in one of the largest public sector hospitals of Pakistan. In this capacity, I have been involved in performing procedures such cardiac catheterization, TPM (Temporary Pacemaker), CVP (Central Venous Pressure) monitoring and managing multi-morbid patients with symptoms such as renal failure and diabetes. In addition, I also have advanced life support certificate. Working in all these different clinical domains I have gained extensive experience in the management of patients both in indoor and outdoor settings, dealing with patients with broad range of symptoms and (cultural) background, understanding patient needs and educating them (key in the efficacy of treatment). I have also the pleasure of managing patients remotely via innovative technology while working for telehealth company. My passion for improving people's life was not just confined to the hospital walls but also arranged and managed free medical camps for patients on the effective use of drugs and educating them on the necessary lifestyle changes which is very key especially in the developing world (not downplaying its importance also in the developed world). Very good listener and empathetic- which is very important in dealing specifically with patients. I am able to work well both as a team member and independently.
