MEP Estimation Engineer   (Mar 2024 to Date)

My key responsibilities involve study of ITB documents received from the client and extract the scope of work, review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for the MEP projects, including equipment cost, Installation material and labor. Prepare MEP Equipment Schedule, which is connected, to BMS. Design BMS/ELV Riser/SLD to show MEP/ELV equipment per building per floor which is connected to BMS. Prepare Input-Output / I-O point list and select instrument or field devices required for suitable system operation. Calculate Total No. of DDC Panel according to total I-O Points, Controller Selection and I-O Modules for ELV/Low Current Systems. Proficient in reading BMS and ELV Architecture/Layouts. Design Input-Output / I-O Control Schematics to show which one is Analog Input, Digital Input, Analog Output and Digital Output. Prepare Bill of Quantity, Commercial Offer, Technical Offer, Prepare Compliance, Prepare Technical Submittal, and Proficient with pricing and estimation before deadline. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, clients & suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information. Prepare and present cost estimates to management for final approval. Participate in bid meetings and negotiations. Prepare a detailed presentation of the MEP system, to make it more clearly to the Client. Review and analyses subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and budget. Maintain accurate records of project estimates, including documentation of assumptions and methodologies used. Proper Follow-ups need to be made for submitted proposals.
