Job Summary: The Deputy Manager Accounts & Finance is responsible for assisting in the management of financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulations, and the effective implementation of accounting procedures. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Assist in the preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial statements.Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.Accounts Payable and Receivable:Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.Manage accounts receivable, ensuring prompt invoicing and collection of payments.Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.Monitor actual performance against budget, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.Bank Reconciliation and Cash Management:Reconcile bank statements regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies.Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.Branch Accounting:Maintain accurate financial records for all branches, ensuring consistency and compliance across locations.Payroll Management:Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries.Ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and tax requirements.Tax Compliance:Prepare and finalize monthly tax challans and returns, including VAT, GST, and withholding taxes.Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.Internal Controls and Audit:Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information.Financial Analysis:Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends.Team Management:Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
