Simulation of Plastic Waste into Hydro Carbon Fuel

<div><p>Plastics present an essential threat to today's society and the environment. More than 14 million tons of plastic are dumped into oceans annually, killing 1,000,000 species of marine life. Although mankind has been endangered and has responded with development in the manufacture of harmful bio-plastics, no final effort has yet been made to recover tl1e damage. In this regard, the pyrolysis studied here provides an effective, clean and very effective means of removing debris that we have left behind for decades. </p> <p>This research developed a computer-based model using the process of Aspen-Hess v8.8for pyrolysis of waste plastic to generate hydrocarbon fuel. The developed model was developed for different operating conditions based on the values of the parameters available in tl1e literature. The plant uses low-density polyethylene plastic feeds to produce gas fuel and liquid fuel products from the separator. By converting plastics into fuel, we solve two problems, one is the large ocean of plastic and the other the fuel shortage. This double benefit, although only available until the discarded plastic is last, 􀃚 · 1 certainly provide us with a strong platform for a sustainable, clean and green future. Given the financial benefits of such a project it would be a great honor for our economy. </p> <p>Due to missing of data from a real life waste plastic power plant tl1e perfonnance of developed model was calculated up to the point of flue gas generation by comparing the simulation result with data obtained from literature. </p> <p>This study provides a theoretical framework for waste plastic power plant such as the use of low-density polyethylene as a feed. Although the performance of computer-based models has been evaluated, further studies are needed to improve waste plastics in terms of fuel production. The method of pyrolysis is both environmental and economic. It will also take a hazardous waste of plastic and reduce tl1e import of crude oil. The properties of the plastic liquid fuel produced are almost like diesel fuel without emitting pollution, so tlle plastic fuel represents a good alternative fuel for tlle diesel engine so it can be used for diesel engine vehicles. </p></div>
