I am an independent doctor with knowledge of medical principles and procedures to diagnose and treat patients. I am looking for a reputable organization for polishing my skills and working with zeal and enthusiasm to serve humanity.
Previously, I have worked at Capital hospital as a house officer for one year. During this one year worked in general surgery, gynae/obs. general medicine and pediatrics departments and also volunteered to work at COVID-19 vaccination center as well as treated COVID19 affected patients. After completion of housejob worked at Farid Family Hospital as a medical officer.
Additionally, I also participated in pediatric COVID 19 vaccination campaign for administration of vaccine in children from ages 5-12years as an AEFI focal person. This campaign was organized by District Health Authority Rawalpindi in collaboration with USAID. The work included leading the vaccination teams and field workers ,providing technical support, supervising teams and UCs in the assigned area accompanying them to various schools and fields and persuading parents to get their children vaccinated and being present at all times to treat and manage any adverse effects of vaccine and immediately report it as well. Provided coordination and technical support to the Govt. Authorities when required. Organized and conducted training, capacity building sessions for Health care providers, staff and community members.
I have also worked at health camps organized in Rawalpindi by Agha Khan University and UNICEF. The work included counseling various patients and prescribing them medications accordingly.
I have worked with PHC Global as a research associate for collection of data for study on atherosclerosis in young adults. This included communicating with general public, spreading awareness regarding the study, and persuading them to participate in it, enrolling participants, interviewing them, recording and analyzing data. Also, timely investigation as well as follow up investigation, ensuring quality specimen collection and transportation. Conducted regular in-depth data analysis and performance review , and identified gaps and corrective measures where needed.
Currently working as a medical officer at Farid Family Hospital and enrolled in MSPH course from Health Services Academy with only thesis component remaining.
