With support of direct supervisor, develop MEAL plan for project including customized monitoring tools and checklists for different components of project.
Carry out frequent field visits for field monitoring and verification of project activities.
Implement and manage Accountability to Beneficiaries mechanism and establishing mechanism of hotline and real time assessment;
Carry out preliminary investigation of complaints of serious nature to facilitate management for informed decision making regarding constituting investigation committee;
Consolidate complaint response mechanism, action plan tracker and monitoring checklists databases on monthly and quarterly basis.
Assist in developing a unified monitoring system and reporting mechanisms for partner NGO’s.
Provide guidance and build capacity, where required of the relevant staff of partners in monitoring and evaluation/ research and documentation.
Participate in situation analysis, research studies and baseline/evaluations as required.
• Responsible for Planning, implementation, and monitoring of livelihood micro projects & their distributions.
• Monitoring project activities, making corrective decisions at various interventions of the projects activities.
• Complying with requirements of Save the Children’s Child protection policy to ensure their maximum protection.
• Facilitating beneficiaries in effective aid utilization which they receive under the interventions of livelihood.
• Making liaison with local intellectuals and identifying areas for possible collaboration and capacity building.
• Preparing necessary reports as per specific donor guidelines and handle reporting requirement in time.
• Assisting program department in communicating relating to Food Security and Livelihood project.
• Coordinating with operations logistics staff over supplies to the field for Food Security and Livelihoods related activities, certifying all requisition and approving financial disbursement within approved authorization level.
• Providing regular and brief reports to program department on gaps and surpluses in annual budgets.
• Maintaining essential documents of the project activities like handing over equipment, vendor agreements, attendance of the project participants, project monitoring reports, and project closing summary.
• Writing project reports as required by senior management, and donors, contributing to the annual report. Coordinating development of Food Security and Livelihoods in conjunction with field staff.
