Being a qualified Software Engineer, I started my career in Humanitarian sector in 2010. I have over 7 years of diverse experience in Humanitarian sector with Government Authorities and multinational professional services network (EY). I have performed analysis on the information on damages/ losses, the people affected in disasters including internally displaced persons (IDPs) and Refugees that was presented to the Government Officials and other Government Departments for reporting, Need-Gap analysis, coordinated with the Government Departments, UN clusters, Local and International Humanitarian Organizations working in Pakistan. I performed my duties in Capacity Building and Planning which included Sensitization sessions with IDPs and Refugees especially women and children in remote areas where I interviewed them and prepared a report that was included in Strategic Planning document. I was also part of the team in the Capacity Building Programme conducted in the most vulnerable districts of Pakistan for Government Officials, Line Departments and Humanitarian Partners on Disaster Preparedness and Response. I developed the database of these trainings and drafted a consolidated report which was shared with Government and donor agency of the Programme. I was part of largest Digital Transformation Project in Pakistan for Engro (biggest conglomerate of Pakistan).
