a) To co-ordinate O.E.M and Consultants for optimizing engineering processes to built consistent and reliable operation of plant.
b) Overall responsible for smooth operation of Rotary & Stationary Equipments, Gensets (MTU, 12V/1500KW), Chiller (100Ton Carrier), Compressors (S100 BOGE), R.O (30,000 Gallons) and all accessories of Plant.
c) Plan, organize, Maintain and evaluate Maintenance activities.
d) Implementation of Maintenance Management System through ERP, MS Project and Documentation.
e) Prepare Case Studies on Sudden, Premature failures to avoid re-occurrences in future.
f) To evaluate Monthly Consumption of spares (department & machines cost centers) to identify, reduce and improve budget expense.
g) Pre-Bidding, B.O.Q and Work Plan analysis of Projects to ensure quality and cost effective results.
i) Counter Analysis and Evaluation of Plant Inspection Check Lists, History Cards, Breakdown Reports and Scheduled Maintenance Plans.
j) Prepare and cross analyze Preventive Maintenance Plans, Corrective Maintenance Plan, Shut-Down Activities Plan and Rapid Failure Plans.
k) Co-ordinate supply chain Dept. to ensure/maintain safe stock for Spares of plant machines.
l) Implement Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance program on plant critical machines.
m) Launch trainings based environment to impart awareness of Kaizen, 5S, Maintenance Management and other Industrial tools.
a) To maintain and repair equipment in a sensitive continuous production process environment and to perform and implement with in the rules of Total Productive Maintenance to ensure continuous improvement.
b) Responsible for operation and maintenance of Rotary and Static equipments i-e Pumps(Gear, Vane, Sludge, Centrifugal, Axial flow and Turbine Pump), Hydraulic & Pneumatic units, Gear boxes, Cooling towers, Heat exchangers, Agitators, Dosing pumps, DCP, Rag Boilers, Stock Pumps, Refiners, Mould, Hydraulic press unit, Pre/Post Dryer system and Thermal unit according to OEM specified procedures.
c) Responsible for the maintenance of Utility Equipments i-e HVAC System (Vapor Absorption 300Ton Capacity), Cooling Towers, Compressors (Renner 55KW, Comp air 37KW), Cargo Lifts (2 Ton), Air Handling Units (50Km3 /hr) and Electric Hoists (10ton).
d) To ensure the reliable Preventive, Predictive, Corrective and Shutdown maintenance of plant accessories.
e) To co-ordinate Production to ensure timely changeovers and startups to achieve production target as per plans.
f) To prepare weekly, monthly and yearly Preventive Maintenance Schedules of department.
g) To implement and practice the I.S.O Documentation of Mechanical department for modernized controlling, monitoring, analysis and planning of Plant according to desired level of performance.
h) Condition based monitoring CBM of all Plant Equipments and Graphical Analysis of Trend Line behavior.
i) To make and operate within standards according to SOPs and Case Studies and implement Check List follow up.
j) Establishing and monitoring programs for Critical Equipment Analysis and monitoring with Downtime Recording System to avoid chronicle issues.
k) Perform “Failure Analysis” and “Fault Diagnosis” to recommend solutions for rectifying the abnormal condition.
l) Scheduling of Machines monitoring Test Like, Laser Alignment, UFD, MPI, DPT, SAG, Air Balancing and Dynamic Balancing on plant equipments.
a) Carry out the maintenance of Vezzani shear Machine; it is a State of the Art Italian shearing plant capable of shearing metal scrap up to 60 MT/Hr with a pressure up to 340 bars. This is the first plant of its nature installed in whole South Asia.
b) Look after the maintenance activities at Rotary & Static Equipments like Pumps (Centrifugal, DWTP, Submersible, Piston Pumps and Gear Pumps), E.O.T Cranes, Induction Furnaces, F.E.S System & Bag House, Pneumatic System, Hydraulic System, Belt Conveyors and Bucket Elevators.
c) To take part in complete over hauling activities of Induction Furnace (Capacity 25 Ton Electrotherm).
d) Took part in Alignment and Balancing of pumps and heavy duty blowers.
e) Preparation and analysis on Downtime Report for the Mechanical department.
f) Consult and Discuss Fruitful Solutions in all aspects of plant Equipment Reliability and Function.
g) Perform Cold Vulcanizing of PVC and Rubber belts.
h) Apply Techniques and Methods for efficient Fault Diagnosis of any malfunctioning equipment.
a) To understand the complete process and maintenance of Steel making machines Like, Furnace, FES, CCM and Cranes.
b) To maintain all the documentation work of mechanical maintenance department.
c) To learn and participate in corrective maintenance of 75 Ton and 30 Ton EOT cranes.
d) To participate in Periodic maintenance of Induction furnace and CCM.
e) Involved in RO Plant, Utility department and workshop mechanical activities.
f) Took part in complete over hauling activities of Induction Furnace.
g) Have made detailed Downtime analysis Report of mechanical maintenance department.
h) Have worked on Submersible and Deep well turbine pumps.
i) Took part in Alignment and Balancing of pumps and heavy duty blowers.
a) Complete orientation of Ammonia, Urea, D.A.P, Utility, Fabrication shop and Workshop related sections.
b) To understand and discuss P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagram) of plant.
c) To take part and understand the condition monitoring of critical machines.
d) To learn different techniques and procedures for welding and surface quality inspection like DPT, MPI, UFD and Radiography.
e) To understand the working and maintenance of HVAC System.
f) Deep understanding and practice of HSE Rules.
