• Medicine handling by proper way.
• Maintain Daily OPD Register.

• Carry out the doctors’ orders as prescribed, questions any concern with prescribed treatment.
• Ensure the unit/ward medical supply requirements are well stocked, properly stored and are readily available.
• Check and record blood sugar.
• Draw blood and perform other lab procedures on patients.
• Check and record vital signs, particularly of pre-operative and post-operative patients.

Support the management of all nutrition interventions at the OTP sites monitor the activities and check list according to Standard operating procedures of CMAM.
• Discussion session with IYCF group and ensure the delivery of health education regarding malnutrition, its risk and treatment of MAM ,SAM & PLW patients.
• To find out the gaps regarding nutrition activities, community outreach, follow-ups and discussion with team members, and suggestions to enhance the quality services.
• Frequent monitoring of field activities.
• Reporting to the Nutrition Coordinator
• Prepare plan of action for effective OTP implementation in consultation with the coordinator.
• Supervise the activities of the OTP team (community Mobilizers, community nutrition workers)
• Work closely with the teams to ensure all children are measured correctly
• Ensure all criteria are respected and understood by the teams, including admission, discharge and transfer to and from the OTP
• Ensure comprehensive health checks and treatment according to the protocols
• Review the forms completed by staff to ensure completion, accuracy and coherence
• Ensure adequate availability of all medical and food supplies and ensure stock is pre-positioned as planned by discussing with logistics
• Follow-up and provide feedback to the coordinator on the amount and quality of the treatment supplies if it does not comply with specified quality standards.
