§ To ensure compliance with company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and guidelines provided by COMPANY from time to time.
§ Direct and support the identification of HSE hazards, evaluation of risks for all activities and develop the tools to manage and reduce these risks.
§ Ensure that Project HSE programs and procedures are implemented, reviewed and improved as needed.
§ Provide HSE functional guidance, auditing, training and participation in meetings for individual contractor and sub-contractor HSE professionals.
§ Participate in incident control duties during major accident emergencies or drills.
Responsible for all aspects of safety: monitoring, defining problems, data collection and analysis, reporting and data entry.
Demonstrate safety awareness and be a visible safety champion.
Conduct multifunctional inspections and document observations and action items.
Develop JHA’s and SOP’s, as needed.
Ensure use of PPE and safe work practices.
Maintain INX database and ensure that all workhours, incidents and near misses are properly recorded
Develop, maintain, review, investigate and close out INX events/records.
Contribute to safety meetings with key statistics and relevant topics for presentation.
Assist staff with incident and accident investigations, maintain report records, and facilitate root cause analysis. Be proactive in completing and closing out action items.
Assist with rehabilitation programs for employees on restricted duties.
Coordinate external HS&E training courses and educate staff on site policies.
Maintain emergency preparedness, and coordinate evacuation and fire drills.
Monitor first aid, firefighting and emergency response equipment.
Conduct other safety-related duties as assigned.
• Conduct TBT on daily basis and maintain HSE record.
• Conduct First day HSE Induction Training for new employee.
• Monitor all critical activities and assure proper permit to work is in place.
• Prepare the Task Risk Assessment for specific activities as per job requirements.
• Understanding and implementation exposure of ISO QMS 9001, OHSAS 18001 and EMS 14001.
• Monitor safety issues at site and communicate to site in charge.
• Establish and Implement HSE plans and procedures for projects considering client and company requirements.
• Inspect the all equipments and prepare the checklists and get the inspection from third party/ client (SECMC) representatives and inspectors.
• Ensure proper & timely accidents reporting and investigation as and when they happen.
• Proper manage the waste management and maintain records.
• To ensure remove the flammable or combustible material from the working area and clear the area for hot work.
• To ensure Work site shall be cordoned off; unauthorized entry prohibited and monitors unauthorized movement.
• Prepare the monthly safety input data and submit to client through Site In charge / Project Manager.
• Environmental Monitoring on a regular basis which includes Noise Monitoring, Monitoring at Blasting site, water quality, Waste Management in all camps and stations, soil and Ground Conditions, transport especially at RoW, Archaeological Sites etc.
• Meeting with Client, consultant & sub-contractors to update Environmental Issues.
• Internal Environmental Audits.
• Reviewing contractor’s document of environmental aspects & impacts including control measures.
• Ensure facilities are in compliance with international, national and local Health and Safety regulations.
• Preparation of Monthly Environmental Monitoring Reports.
• Environment Management System (ISO: 14001).
• Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS: 18001).
