As Manager Group Income Tax, I am responsible for managing the tax compliance and planning for a company. This includes ensuring that the company is in compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax savings. Specific responsibilities may include:
· Managing the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns of PTCL Group and its subsidiaries.
· Managing the preparation and filing of quarterly corporate advance tax of PTCL Group and its subsidiaries.
· Coordinating with other departments to gather information necessary for tax compliance.
· Ensuring compliance of withholding tax and filing of quarterly and annual statements under the ordinance.
· Identifying and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liability
· Staying informed of changes in tax laws and regulations and assessing the potential impact on the company
· Managing relationships with tax authorities and representing the company in tax audits and disputes
· Providing guidance and training to other members of the company on tax-related matters
· Assists in the review of tax provisions to accounts department.
· Assists in the review of quarterly and annual tax provisions to accounts department.
· Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insight and guidance on potential tax liabilities and opportunities.
· Provide guidance and support to the company's financial and operational teams on tax-related matters, including tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning.
· Collaborate with other departments within the company, including finance, accounting, and legal, to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

As Assistant Tax Manager my core responsibilities included:
· Review monthly Sales Tax Return.
· Review monthly statement of withholding taxes filed voluntarily 165 & 149.
· Providing guidance to accounts department relating tax matters in recording of day-to-day financial transactions in order to avoid penalty from tax authorities.
· Checking the accounting entries accuracy, in term of head of accounts and financial accuracy, passed in general ledger of accounting system of the company.
· Planning activities to avoid tax related errors in company's financial statement.
· Coordination with external auditor during the financial audit of the company.
· Communication with tax authorities in case of notices under different section of tax rules.
· Reviewing party’s reconciliation whenever any disputes arise.
• Perform bookkeeping of daily transaction and inserting the daily accounting entries and relaying it in the used accounting ledgers and entering all Accounting data in Accounting Software.
• Monitoring customer account details for non payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
• Preparing the quotations, invoices, receipts, customer returns and verifying the accuracy accounting documents or records.
• Assisting Manager in preparing profit and loss account and balance sheet with required schedules for finalization of accounts.
• Regular follow up on disputed balances and report on a periodical basis.
• Prepare a monthly report for Sales, Collection, debits accounts.
• Prepare monthly bank & customer reconciliation statement.
• Maintain accounts receivable customer files.

• Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a weekly basis including accounts receivable, revenue, accounts payable.
