Ø Collaborate with WHO sub-offices, government stakeholders and relevant partners on ground for coordination meetings and ensuring synergistic response planning and implementation and to insure ensuring implementation of the MPDSR system,
Ø Coordinate data management and reporting from all service delivery points for regular reports.
Ø Draft an outline action plan of trainings and refreshers for all selected facilities/districts of the province.
Ø Gather and prepare the revised training materials on MPDSR system.
Ø Support in preparing regular updates and presentations for sharing in-house and with external stakeholders;
Ø Provide technical and logistical support to the Provincial Health Departments in coordinating facility, district and provincial MPDSR review meetings through respective committees as per stipulated schedules and ToR’s.
Ø Brief and coach the relevant committee members in use of MPDSR software tool and facilitate the data management at the implementing units at the selected hospitals.
Ø Draft reports and lessons learned to brief the MPDSR Provincial Task Force, facility and district review meetings.
Ø Undertake monitoring activities for MPDSR system, TGCS & LCG implementation at the selected healthcare facilities.
Ø Conduct analysis of data from MPDSR, TGCS & LCG implementation and generate technical reports of the reviews in coordination with the Provincial Health Departments focal persons
Ø Draft reports for all activities under MPDSR system, TGCS & LCG implementation (challenges, achievements, next steps) and submit progress reports for review by Ministry & WHO teams.
Ø Coordinate with relevant teams for ensuring timely provision of logistic support for smooth implementation of the RMNCAH and Nutrition flood response plan in the field.
Ø Draft and disseminate communications/notifications to focal point on quality of care at respective provincial DOH to support the RMNCAH quality of care initiatives.
Ø Provide technical assistance for trainings on MPDSR/ RMNCAH for selected facilities/districts
Ø Draft a costed plan for the implementation in selected facilities, a costed plan for scale up of MPDSR, TGCS and LCG implementation to other facilities and districts in coordination with Provincial Health Departments and the respective districts.
Ø Provide technical support to Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health programmes at national level by assessing the situation and generating evidence-based profiles for RMNCAH programme.
Ø Provide technical support in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating Sexual and Reproductive health, maternal and new-born health, Integrated Management of New-born and Childhood Illnesses (IMNCI) and Adolescent Health polices, strategies, and plans.
Ø Assist in developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating Maternal and Reproductive Health Programme, including family planning polices, strategies and plans.
Ø Carry out local adaptation of WHO tools, guidelines and norms in close collaboration with federal and provincial stakeholders.
Ø Build capacity of RMNCAH service providers in all relevant areas and ensure quality of training.
Ø Liaise and collaborate with the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and provincial/area departments of health for all activities.
Ø Coordinate with Partners namely UN agencies, donors, nongovernmental organizations and academic institutes to ensure that RMNCAH interventions are supported, and that partners’ efforts are harmonized in an efficient and productive manner.
