To Conduct legal camps incamp & off camp and provide counselling, legal advice, and refer the case to volunteer lawyer if any., Receive feedbacks from community through helpline number.
•Preparing & drafting of various cases and to submit the case in the court of law for further legal proceeding. •To provide maximum legal support/Information to the victims of violence. •Advise clients of their rights and all matters relating to civil and criminal laws. •Gathering evidence and reach legal precedents. •Draw legal documents such as real estate transactions, will, divorce and contracts agreements and prepare statements of legal opinions. •Plead client’s case before courts like tribunals, boards, and labor courts. •Negotiate settlements of civil disputes (Inheritance, Dower, Property issues). •Prepare legal briefs, develops strategy, arguments, and testimony in preparation for presentation of case Study Constitution, statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances to determine their effect on the case. •Prepare legal briefs and opinions. •Excellent understanding of Pakistan penal code, civil and criminal procedure code, strong understanding of electoral and democratic institutions (senate, national and provincial assemblies, local government) specifically parliamentary structures •Gather evidence and documents to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions. •Represent client in court or before government or other agencies. •To facilitate vulnerable and underprivileged citizens to get Justice and empower them to better claim their legal rights by arranging awareness raising sessions, seminars and FGD’s. •Provide professional services in Foreign Graduates Degree cases, NADRA and Passport related cases, Cyber crime and CUSTOM clearance. •Excellent understanding of international human rights frameworks and mechanisms in comparison with Pakistan’s relevant policies, laws and systems. • Excellent communication, research and writing skills • Demonstrated experience in engaging/working with democratic institutions, ADR.
• On an ongoing basis ensure that project monitoring data is collected, stored and analyzed in a clear and professional manner.
• Monitor the protection situation in Targeted area of intervention (Tehsil Bara, Khyber Agency).
• Working closely with the UNOCHA funded project staff ensures that all data is verified and cleaned before analysis and archive.
• Conduct different assessments surveys on AICD implemented activities using agreed tools to ensure the data collection.
• Frequent field visits to carry out process monitoring based on minimum standards and output level indicators
• Facilitate WFS coordinator to manage complaint response mechanism at UNOCHA funded project which will allow communities to provide AICD with feedback on project implementation, register and monitor complaints.
• Daily and make regular contact with the beneficiary community to identify incidents and protection concerns, including gaps in service provision.
• Systematically gather and update the data on Extremely Vulnerable Individuals (EVIs) to ensure facilitation through referrals and timely interventions.
• Ensure accountability minimum standards according to HAP principles and Humanitarian code of conduct.
• Ensure that the project beneficiaries are given orientation regarding AICD CRM procedures supporting WFS coordinator.
• Report all information or difficulty related to AICD's activities or security aspects.
• Represent AICD in Health, GBV and Protection cluster meetings.
