Graduated in Sociology, I am a skilled, committed, and highly experienced program/project management professional with over twenty three (23) years of experience in participatory community development, social & behaviour change, and capacity building.
I have worked & collaborated with numerous non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government-run programs across various sectors, including education, child protection, health, poverty alleviation, livelihood development, WASH, integrated development, social and behaviour change, and training.
Additionally, I have extensive experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, a solid understanding of computer software and its applications, and good report writing skills.
About the projects:
1. Project Manager at CERD (PPAF) since May 1, 2024, in Kohistan, working on the Restoring Social Services & Climate Resilience Project

Project Scope & Detail:
1. Lead Trainer (Consultant) at Institute of Rural Management (IRM) and Center of Excellence for Training and Development (CETD), supported by UNICEF, WHO, DoH, GIZ, and DFID, from December 15, 2015, to April 20, 2019
2. In addition to my role as a Trainer, throughout my professional career, I have conducted training and capacity-building sessions for various community groups, including COs, VOs, sports groups, CPCs, and volunteer groups, as well as staff orientation sessions and on-the-job training
Responsibilities as Trainer:
1. Program Customization: Analysed and reviewed information and data to tailor program content to trainees' needs
2. Training Development: Designed and developed training plans, sessions, BCC & training materials based on on-the-job assessments of trainees and junior trainers
3. Training Delivery: Conducted various training sessions across different districts in KP
4. Evaluation: Conducted pre- and post-training evaluations and assessments
5. Budget Support: Assisted in preparing budgets for training costs and detailed expenditure reports

About the Projects: SADP was a government-managed participatory initiative targeting multi-sector development in livelihoods, WASH and social infrastructure in underdeveloped southern districts of KP. While FRDP focused on integrated development, including WASH, livelihoods, vocational training and social & economic infrastructure
1. Led a team of over twenty members as District Officer - Community Development (D I Khan) at KP-Southern Area Development Project (KP-SADP), supported by the World Bank and Government of KP, from June 15, 2013, to December 30, 2014
2. As Team Leader - Community Development Section / SSO, responsible for leading a large team including Community Mobilizers, Surveyors, and Assistant Engineers for FATA Rural Development Project, Government of Pakistan, in Bajaur from December 14, 2006, to March 31, 2012, the project was supported by Asian Development Bank & Government of Pakistan
Responsibilities as Team Leader
1. Community Development Leadership: Led, facilitated, and supervised community development initiatives at the district level
2. Operational Planning: Prepared operational and Detailed Implementation Plans (DIPs) for community development programs, ensuring participatory practices, inclusion, gender equity, and protection
3. Supervision and Coaching: Supervised and mentored Social Organizers and Community Mobilizers in organizational processes and project interventions
4. Planning and Consultation: Developed Community Development Plans using Community Driven Development approach in collaboration with government departments

6. Technical Support: Provided training and technical advice to Social Organizers, CBOs, EIGs, and CEIGs on community development and social change

About the Projects:
SFDP was a government project focused on multi-sector development, including WASH, livelihoods, vocational trainings and social & economic infrastructure. The Kopar Sanitation Project (MRSO) aimed at improving sanitation. Other projects were centred on education and literacy programs to achieve universal primary education and promote volunteerism, as well as initiatives on education, literacy and child protection for children involved in child labor.
1. As a member of the Social Organization team, I worked as a Social Organizer with South FATA Development Project, GoNWFP Kurram Agency (Government Project), from April 14, 2005, to June 30, 2006, in Parachinar - Kurram Agency
2. Served as Social Organizer / Project Coordinator with MRSO in a sanitation improvement project (TVO Funded) at Malakand Agency from May 3, 2004, to April 11, 2005
3. As a Social Organizer (District Mardan), I was an active team member with National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) - APPNA SEHAT & IRSP Mardan (NGOs), supported by the Government of Pakistan, from August 15, 2002, to April 30, 2004
4. Began my professional career with Sawabi Women Welfare Society (SWWS-NGO) in District Mardan as Field Officer / Monitoring Officer in a British Council and DFID-supported project from November 1, 2000, to June 30, 2002
Responsibilities as Team Player
+ Organize beneficiary groups and village communities according to project criteria for genuine participation in project activities
+ Conduct Participatory Rural Appraisals with the support of Government Line Departments to identify community needs and possible interventions within the project mandate
+ Collect information for Village Development Plans (VDPs), Management Information Systems (MIS), and strategic planning
+ Provide follow-up support to CGs for agreed interventions in the Village Development Plan
+ Facilitate Community Groups to develop, implement, and supervise Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) to meet project targets and objectives
