Logistic Coordinator

Responsibilities in Logistics Section

• Hiring of new transport service providers for country wide transportation of fertilizers
• Primary point of contact between the executives and internal / external clients
• Active role in Logistics Operations for shipments all over the country
• Route planning for shipment cost, transit time and security;
• Suggest methodologies to enable effective execution of logistic plans for timely deliveries
• Monitoring inventory, organizing and maintaining shipment record and evaluating cost
• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet the shipment requirements
• Working closely with customers, colleagues to ensure smooth operations to deadlines
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales and Finance Departments to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure that everything Is carried out in timely manner
• Transport arrangements for export shipment in 1MT bag
• Liaising with third parties to move goods as per customer requirements
• Fleet maintenance, Warehouse acquisition, audits and monthly entry audits in their work place
• Receive incoming calls and emails; take messages, respond appropriately
• Warehouse acquisition, stock management and audtis
Responsibilities in Freight Section
• Freight Bill processing for transportation worth Rs.1 billion/Annum approx.
• Contracts, transportation and handling costs;
• Arranging payment of freight and other charges or collection of paymentand fuel card limit issuance;
• Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with Internal & External Customers.
• Resolve issues regarding shipment shortage/damage/claims

• Good command on Document Control
• Strong personal initiative and willingness to accept responsibilities
• Comprehensive grasp of logistics operations and practices
• Ensuring the equal participation and full Involvement of all team members in all aspects.
• Ability to operate common database software (ERP), spreadsheet and complex text documents.

Project
• Successfully completed Project of “ORACLE TRANSPORTAION MANAGEMENT” as being part of CORE TEAM and participated as active member in process formation and validation of application
• Successfully completed validation of reverse logistics module in OTM
• Successfully completed validation of Asset Deal and switched from PFG to FFM (Merger activity in System)
