Worked as Focal Point between ADB and Government of Punjab (Punjab Local Government & Community Development Department) to devise Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (CRVA) and Disaster Risks Assessment at district and local level & ensure the compliance of environmental and social safeguards by carrying out the following major activities:
• Oversee the mitigation and adaptation options available according to the district profile relating to impacts of climate change on agriculture sector, poverty ,gender and available resources (human, financial and infrastructure) and implementation strategies and plans
• Develop tools and techniques (Questionnaires, Checklists, FGDs contents etc.) for consultation with communities (with particular focus on the most vulnerable groups i.e. small land holders, women headed households/ women farmers)and other stakeholders (District Authorities, Punjab Agriculture Department, Punjab Environment Protection Department, Punjab Irrigation Department and other Government bodies, civil society, NGOs and CBOs ) to assess the vulnerabilities, environments, hazards and climate changes and impacts on lives and means of livelihoods (particularly agricultural and farming activities) and integrate their feedback and recommendations/suggestions in the main document

• As a Team Lead provided technical support to the Government Departments and Agencies and PMU team and Environmental and Social Safeguards teams at field level for the screening of World Bank funded sub-projects of urban development in 05 cities of Punjab for social and environmental impacts and vulnerabilities and identified mitigation and management options/strategies including Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and climate change adaptation and mitigation as per WBG instruments and procedures and local laws and policies.
