I rejoined here as Production Head of the Board and Press section in which I mainly deal with Operations Planning and execution of customized jobs with respect to Drawings and SAP generated cutting lists comprised of:-
1. Engineered Materials like MFC, Chipboard, MDF, HDF, Formica, Veneer, Laminated lumber core and PVC Paper
2. Machining and Manufacturing solutions with the help of advanced CNC Machining Centers, Edging Machines, Beam Saws.
3. Hot and Cold Pressing of Veneer, Formica, PVC paper and the sheets of MDF, chipboard, tubular and LVL Cores.

 Coordination with Sales department or sometimes with direct Customers to get their demands/forecast and then to plan it with production department to ensure on-time delivery of required product quantities for our Local and Foreign Clients.
Calculation of Required ingredients (either Local or imported), Birds and packing material with respect to the available Forecast, Sales Projections and Direct Customer’s Purchase Orders.
Preparation of Monthly Plan, Weekly and Daily Plans for Production Department with respect to the availability of the Inputs and Resources.
Timely and accurate planning of Imported Ingredients specifically with respect to the import lead time, in advance to ensure the smooth production and to avoid any kind of ingredient expiry.
Coordination with purchase and import department to ensure that all inputs are streamlined to ensure smooth production as per plan.

Following are the main tasks & respective achievements:-

Synchronized Production planning and control of CNC machines and advanced machinery having work force of more than 200 which mostly corporates variety of machining operations and wood processing operations to ensure 20% to 30% reduction in Lead time.
Streamlining and smoothening of production operations to ensure in time delivery by doing effective resource planning which mainly includes the synchronized communication between SCM & Production Department.
Working as Zonal Head to ensure at least 90% compliance, 6S Implementation by using auditing techniques on shop floor.
Development of Documentation like SOPs of PPC department, HR vs. Machine Analysis, Work instructions and Process wise strength.

Surgicon is one of the top exporter and manufacturer of surgical instruments in Pakistan. I worked here on the following tasks with respective achievements:-

Production planning and control of Machine Shop of Forging shop having work force of about 80 persons for about 3000 different surgical items by using different inventory control and forecasting approaches including raw material procurement as well.
CAPA (corrective action & preventive action) execution with synchronized technical coordination of foreign client on overall value added processes.
Quality Assurance regarding important value added processes like vacuum heat treatment and passivation.
