The major areas are: Recruitment and staffing, Organizational planning, Performance management and improvement systems, Organization development, Employee orientation, development and training, Policy development and documentation, Employee relations, Compensation and benefits administration, Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health, Employee counseling.
Develop a strategic approach to human resources development and management to ensure the effective implementation of the bank’s strategy and operational plans.
Develop appropriate human resources policies and standards to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of staff through the organization.
Ensure that the HR issues are given full consideration in all decision making.
Ensure that all managers and staff, are aware of the HR policies and procedures and are able to implement the same effectively.
Provide support to managers on HR and organization development issues.
Recommend changes in Bank Organization, keeping in view the work load of each employee, besides other factors like backups etc.
Develop, implement and manage a system of performance appraisal, as set out by the HRD, Head Office.
