Control & Compliance:
Responsible for planning/implementing, controlling and compliance culture in branches.
Proper implementation of SBP clean note policy to avoid penalties.
Ensure implementation of KYC/AML/CFT regulation in branches.
Overall monitoring of branch environment to check suspicious activity of branch/staff to mitigate the risk of parallel banking.
Audit Rectification and Closure of Audit Reports:
Coordination with branches, help and guide them for early rectification of audit irregularities.Closure of audit reports within TAT.Bring improvement in Audit Category of Branches.
Monitoring of region branches to ensure that there is no unattended GL in any branch of the Region.
Quality Service & Assurance:
Improve quality of customer service and to ensure implementation of accountability of staff on the same.
Ensure prompt and effective disposal of customer complaints and inquiries.
Ensure that the branch premises are kept clean and provide conducive banking environment to customers.
ATM Monitoring:
To ensure ATM's are operational 24/7 and to keep ATM downtime to minimum possible level.
Monitoring of On-Site and Off-Site ATM during week ends and on long holidays
Staff Training & Branch Visits:
Periodical visits of at least branches of Region and perform inspection of branch as per provided checklist.
Training and development of all staff of branch.
Ensure punctuality, observance of dress code and attendance in branches.
Any other assignment given by the GMO/Head Office.
Identification of shortage of staff and making efforts to fill this in branches.
Hiring and placement of new staff in Branches,and ensure that right man is appointed for the right job
Key responsibilities as Area manager Operations undertaken include:
· Assisting Regional Head to undertake the smooth functioning of the Branches
· Developing the infrastructure facilities and keeping track of its proper maintenance
· Checking the records of the branches and keeping track of the monthly,quarterly ,half yearly and yearly evaluation .
· Organizing meetings and provide guidance to the staff and employees to seek progress and improvement
· Implementing advanced methods of work done according to laid down procedure
· Training and development of staff and new hired staff and employees
· Organizing meeting and working on monthly progress of staff
· Resolving conflict among staff
As Compliance Manager
· Visit to branches for checking day to day work as per internal control list of compliance
· Checking of branch record for Audit period
· Review of internal controls and suggest any measures for its improvement
· Staff training according to requirement and need
· Preparation of reports for onward submission
