Rural Support Programmes Network: District Project Officer January 2021 – 31st May 2021 • Provide support to RSPN M&E Specialist to develop the project implementation/performance plan. • Ensure that all agreed activities and targets are included in the project implementation plan. • Ensure that field teams have required resources for the implementation of the project. • Provide guidance to project team for effective implementation of the project activities and ensure that all agreed targets are achieved within given time period and with agreed financial resources. • Maintain close coordination with Deputy Commissioners and Department of Health and keep them updated about Project Progress • Ensure that available programmatic and financial resources are utilized only for the project and ensure compliance with the RSPN and donor’s requirements. • Provide support in arranging visits of government officials, UNICEF representatives and RSPN/RSPs senior management. • Maintain project record at district level for validation purpose. • Share weekly statistical progress reports with Project Manager RSPN.

• Worked as an educational consultant during the project development of EMO School in ruler area of Sindh (under supervision of HANDS)

• Responsible for the overall implementation and monitoring of the Education Voucher Scheme in 13 Union Councils of Karachi
• Manage the delivery of a robust process for bringing partner schools into the Programme while ensuring full compliance with the terms of reference agreed with the donor agency
• To periodically facilitate the internal monitoring and evaluation process for partner schools in the designated Union Councils
• Building and maintaining relations with partner schools in the designated Union Councils
• To undertake regular EVS beneficiary follow-ups to track their record of attendance, absenteeism, retention and promotion
• To keep a track of children dropping out of school(s) during the course of their primary education and ascertain the reasons through focus group discussions with parents & school community
• Support and coach the field team comprising of seven field coordinators through joint field visits and performance based management
• Assist and manage donor visits to the partner schools
• Support Capacity Development initiatives and interventions for partner schools, including implementation of the EFS Early Grade Assessment (EGA) system and the capturing of data for the School Report Card (SRC)

• Organize events and meetings on behalf of the Alif Ailaan campaign
• Report to the campaign office about the activities undertaken and the expected outcome
• Mobilize print/electronic and social media to build support for the cause by developing contacts and sharing relevant posts with the concerned stakeholders
• Manage a grassroots movement for education through social media
• Manage a network of 25 volunteers/activists

• Delivered roll out training of Active Citizen Program for youth & students of different institutions as a Facilitator & Trainer.

• Headed three year project on Adult Literacy/Functional Literacy & Vocational Training of women funded by USAID in marginalized urban areas of Karachi
