I have more than 12 years of post qualification experience both in Public and Private sector having M.Phil in Development Studies major subject in Agriculture Economics from the University of Sindh, For professional and personal development attended national and international short courses and training for project and program management, monitoring and evaluation, research and development, community-based disaster risks reduction (DRR) etc. in Pakistan and abroad from China, Thailand and Bangladesh.
The program management, coordination, team building and development of organizational and institutional capacities are remained my core responsibilities. I have expertise and experience of Community Development, Agriculture Management, Water and Sanitation, Research, Food Security and Livelihoods, Gender Development, projects.
Provision of technical services on Capacity Development to various Provincial and National organizations and Public sector Institutions also included as part of my job. Thus, I have been conducting organizational appraisals, baseline surveys, need assessments, proposal development, monitoring and evaluation of projects, and research studies on different topics including Agriculture Economics, Water Scarcity, Food Security and Employment of Youth etc.
Throughout my career, I have managed a number of projects funded by national, international organizations and corporate donors including Govt. of Sindh, Govt. of Pakistan, PPAF, World Bank, USAID, UNDP, DFID, NCA, Swiss Solidarity, Oxfam Int., United Energy Pakistan, ENI etc.
My job experiences include, SLM Training Consultant with Sustainable Land Management Program -II (UNDP PD Department) Govt. of Sindh for capacity building of farmers and social activists at Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Sanghar Monitoring and Evaluation Officer- Integrated Area Upgrading Program (IAUP) funded by World Bank implemented through Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Govt. of Pakistan. Project Manager, WASH/ EFSL RDF - in five districts i.e. Benazirabad, Tando Allahyar, Hyderabad, Karachi and Thatta and Community Development Specialist - National Institute for Research and Development (NIRD)-F funded by PPAF
Currently working as Regional Program Manager with Accelerated Action Plan (AAP) for Reduction of Stunting and Malnutrition implemented by Local Govt. Department, Govt. of Sindh, funded by World Bank and other WASH projects funded by UNICEF and NCA
