Provisionally Selected for the position “Health Education Specialist at PMCs-IHH Turkish-District Umerkot-Pakistan” (Continue). I am working; under the guidance & direct supervision of the Country Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager & Project Site In-Charge in the respective Sindh province or area. I had been qualified written test & Interviewed by the integrated Center of Excellence in Training & Development (Team CETD-Pakistan & Team IHH Turkish-Pakistan). The IsDB has signed a grant agreement with the Government of Pakistan, for the supply & operation of Pakistan Mobile Clinics (PMCs) through IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation Turkey. The IHH holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 2004. The project is executed in close coordination with the Sindh Health Department and District Administration.
Job Responsibilities:
• I am responsible for all health education, health prevention & health promotion activities.
• Timely monitored the quality of preparatory activities (DHQ management meetings, doctors & skilled staff practices at DHQ, emergency & data management, etc) conducted at district, using prescribed tools (software) and shared the finding with DPEC, DHMT, and country project manager & project site in-charge.
• Assisted all PMC’s staff and Conducted supervision of the PMCs campaign using observers’ checklist as per guideline
• Monitoring all areas within a 5-kilometer radius of the target location and gather data on demographics, disease burden, disease patterns, vaccination campaign, and any health promotion, health education, or health prevention campaign being conducted through any public or private organization.
• Establishing linkages with communities through project facilitators, including society elders, political or governmental officials, mosque imams, journalist,s or any other public opinion maker.
• Engaging with communities on regular basis to conduction health promotion, health awareness, health education, etc.
National Specialist UNV District Monitor (Measles SIA-EPI in District Sanghar). I have Worked; under the guidance and direct supervision of the National Professional Officer (NPO) – EPI and the Technical Officer – EPI in the respective province or area. (Contract: 18 Sept to 30 November 2018, Roster No: 1291385, Position No: 134255, Request No: PAKR000326, Host Agency: WHO).
Also with the best coordination of the United Nation governing bodies being a DM measles, SIA-EPI Routine Immunization Campaign monitored district Sanghar; no of 6 Taluka’s, delivered lecture’s on Measles-RI SIA during 12 day’s training to Doctors & other health staff like UCMO’s, & Skilled Staff. As well-monitored measles campaign while visiting all taluka’s staff's daily base working activities. Significantly we all notable members gathered for the best outcome daily-base measles SIA meetings chaired by DC, co-chaired by ADC I, II, DHO & Governing UN members at DC office, DPCR office & DHO office civil hospital Taluka/District Sanghar. Finally, the Measles SIA campaign has been succeeded in the District Sanghar; the Total target measles vaccine to immunize for our beloved Children: 355604, Achieved target: 363733, Total Achieved percentage: 102%.
Significantly, I have been selected for the post-campaign survey activity for Monitoring purposes in the mentioned districts in SINDH like Thatta, Badin, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas on date 7-18 November 2018. Finally, 19-30 Nov 2018, I have worked on EPI Routine Immunization activities in District Sanghar.
