I have completed my LLB in 2007 from the university of Peshawar have practiced as an advocate in district courts Nowshera. In addition for being a professional lawyer i have two years teaching experience at Army public school Akora Currently I am serving as Protection Officer assisting as Legal expert in International Rescue Committee district Nowshera.
Develop a workplan related to the implementation of the project. This includes defining a mechanism to the identification of beneficiaries in line with the requirements and standards of such programs and /or project, the planning of the financial and material needs and project implementation timeline to update regularly.
Plan in a concerted and timely manner, with support team, the logistics related to the social cohesion activities.
Ensure the security of the beneficiaries and team during the project activities.
Develop and maintain a good relations and a continuous communication with the local authorities and communities as well as with other actors to inform them on the progress of the project.
Give technical assistance to instructors/supervisors under his/her responsibility.
Collaborate with the partner organization in trainings/workshps/activities foreseen in the project
Ensure the participation of the communities in all phases of the project (inception, beneficiary selection, implementation and monitoring) in order for the communities so that beneficiary communities actually appropriate the project
Ensure close monitoring of the implementation of project and inform the hierarchy of a delay in due time that would put at risk to attain the results of the project
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly internal reports and donor reports on the project activities in a timely manner in accordance with the internal requirements of the WEO and donor external requirements
Report any problems encountered in the field, such as complaints from participants or communities, or interference of local authorities or security threats to the head of base or program coordinator.
Handle and develop the competences and performances of staff through feedback sessions on their performance and by coaching.
Conduct training sessions and reinforce the capacity of staff and partners (if needed).
Evaluate/participate in the evaluation of project staff competences before the three months’ probation period and before the end of the contract.
Facilitate the communication, exchange of ideas, information and editing of reports based on the needs to ameliorate the efficiency
Supervise and motivate the staff under his/her responsibility and ensure that the objectives are clear
Ensure that staff implementing the activities have respect for the code of conduct and to report on all observations to the head of base or to line managers
Make a quarterly update on budget spendings and the workplan for implementing
Participate in spending plans.
• Support UNHCR protection oversight and specific activities within the registration centres, working closely with Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees (CAR) in assisting refugees through the documentation verification undertaken by NADRA.
• Respond to queries from the refugees regarding the verification procedure at the same time providing special attention to those refugee individuals and families that require guidance and assurance.
Identification of elderly, persons with disabilities, very large families and/or families with many young children, unaccompanied children and other Persons with Specific Needs (PSNs).
• Identify any PSNs or individuals that appear to require greater care and attention,providing them all reassurances and explain the purpose of the DRIVE.
Assist a vulnerable individual through the process, assuring them of the confidential nature of the information that they provide in response to the questions that will be asked by NADRA.
Encourage the concerned refugee family and/or individual family members to provide fullest possible information in response to the questions that are of a sensitive nature.
•working closely with CAR staff to ensure the timely identification of PSNs for any immediate support that they require during the DRIVE.
• Conducting initial urgent protection interviews of needy individuals - in accordance with the UNHCR Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that will be provided.
• Respond to refugees' questions regarding the DRIVE procedures in the centres and the follow-up process for collecting their Smartcards, and impressing upon them the importance of ensuring they visit the PCMs (after the DRIVE is concluded) whenever they have a change in circumstances that will require their information / profile to be updated in the NADRA database.
• Assist UNHCR in monitoring the DRIVE activities and recording overall progress at the Drive centre.
• Providing interpretation and/or translation assistance as needed.
• Working closely with the Senior Registration Officer and with UNHCR Protection colleagues and assist UNHCR in monitoring DRIVE activities and recording overall progress at the registration centre.
• Prepare and submiting a daily situation report to their UNHCR supervisor and debrief on any issues and aspects of the process that require corrective action and/or further attention.
•Work closely with the project coordinator & EDO and other key personal to design coordinate and impalement activities according to the nature of program.
•Arrange well equipped trainings for the business grant beneficiaries in the targeted area.
•Developed all learning and teaching material manual modules and additional facilities as per the demand of training contents.
•Arranged daily basis lesson plan according to recognize curriculum.
• Developed a Business plan for each beneficiary according to his/her Trade.
•Provide the psychological support to needy person who, need the support.
•Provide the group counseling to the GBV survivor, woman girl’s boys and their family if Client allows contacting them.
•Conducting awareness sessions and PRA on the concerned issues were conducted for them to aware them about the potential risk and how to cope with the situation/risk.
•Formation of a female committee at the targeted community to identify the protection concerns and reach the massages with help from them.
•Doing coordination meeting with local organizations who are working on protection issue and providing the assistance if we referred them especially legal assistance in GBV cases.
