Provide technical and managerial guidance and support to partner organizations in the planning, implementation and monitoring of Malteser International’s co-funded projects
Monitor the implementation of Malteser International’s co-funded projects according to the set targets (objectives, indicators, work plan and approved budgets). Regularly review projects against the strategic objectives and initial design and conduct regular monitoring visit to the project locations
Monitor compliance with Malteser International and donor standards, rules and regulations as well as administrative and logistic procedures during projects planning, implementation/closure and ensure that they are implemented, used and adhered to.
Quality management through mechanisms/tools/systems for close monitoring and evaluation of activities and their impact
Support partner organisations in consolidating multiple donor projects into a program approach, including establishing functional management and administrative tools


Head the Malteser International Team in Sindh and ensure that all coordinating and supporting functions of the Malteser International representation and its team are maintained at all times
Ensure and support appropriate public relation activities concerning the projects
Ensure proper and appropriate visibility measures according to the organizational and donor requirements
Assessment of funding opportunities and/ or consortia for future partner implemented projects within the humanitarian response in Sindh.
Assessment of additional local partner organisations in Sindh for possible future collaboration
Support and advise the partner organisations in resource mobilization, developing linkages and lobbying with INGOs, UN and other donors.

To develop country specific partnership strategy in consultation with the partnerships team at IRC Pakistan and relevant colleagues; draft and finalize country specific partnership strategy.  
Lead and provide technical oversight for the development of EOI for Increasing the pool of partners by open competitive process through disseminating country wide EOIs to the local civil society organizations.
Develop short listing criteria and consultation with IRC team before finalization for selection of strategic partners (50% women led/focused organizations) not limited to the strategic compatibility of the organization and the IRC, or the extent to which IRC’s respective visions, missions, values and culture, and strategic priorities align or overlap.
Screen and short list potential organizations, development and circulating Request for Application (RFA) to these organizations.
Finalize potential organization on the bases of submitted RFAs.
Identification of strategic partners Under Strategy100 IRC aims to ‘partner as equals,’ including by developing long-term strategic partnerships with local civil society, government and private sector actors.
Develop criteria for selection of these strategic partners and lead the process of identification.  
Review of partners policies with a GEDI (Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) lens. 
Collect policies from existing IRC’s partners, review and analyse policies with the lens of IRC’s (GEDI) strategy.
Provide recommendations where applicable to improve the said policies.   Organizational development of partners strengthening local actors’ ability to deliver services and respond to the needs of people is a key element of the IRC’s mission.

Functioning of the district disaster management authorities:

• To assist the DCO office to make the District Disaster Management Authority/unit functional, and facilitate coordination with various departments and stakeholders

Rahnuma-Family Planning Association of Pakistan
Gender Based Violence, Project addresses vulnerability of young girls and women to GBV through strengthened services and improved capacity of health care providers and stakeholders in flood/Earthquake affected areas of Pakistan. The Project was implemented in ten districts of Pakistan; the detail of areas is as under:
Punjab: Muzzafargarh, DG Khan, Laiyaah, Rajanpur
Sindh: Badin, Daddu, Thatta.
AJK: Neelam, Bagh, Muzzafarabad.
 
Job Descriptions:

Develop and maintain the cordial relationship with all relevant stakeholders such as Population Planning, Social Welfare departments, relevant stakeholders and team members

International Labour Organization is an agency of United Nations which is working for the elimination of child labour in Surgical and Soccer Ball industries of Pakistan.
• To visit the factories, stitching centres and surgical instrument workshops of participating manufacturers and their sub-contractors, to verify the information on child labour provided by participating manufacturers and to monitor their compliance with the agreement signed between Sialkot Chamber of Commerce(SCCI), Surgical Instruments Manufacturing Association of Pakistan (SIMAP) and ILO.
• Identify the children from the workshops/factories as well as from the communities and to bring them back to schools which were established by ILO in collaboration with local NGOs.
• Assist SIMAP and SCCI in order to develop an internal monitoring system.
• Co-ordinate with the implementing partners under surgical project.
• Examine the record related to vendor workshops/ sub-contractors, maintained by the participating manufacturers.
• Keep appropriate record of each monitoring visit and prepare reports.
• Mobilize children, parents and employers about the social Rehabilitation Programme of the project.
• Raise awareness among the stitching/surgical manufacturers’ communities in particular and rural community in general about the ill effects of child labour, importance of education and human development.
