As an engineer, I have analytical reasoning and critical thinking with a passion of improvement and innovation to maximize efficiency & effectiveness. Assistant Purchase & Warehouse
As the Assistant - Warehouse & Purchase at Agha Khan Hospital, I oversee the operations specially the warehouse & inventory management. I was responsible for supervision of inventory management and control processes, negotiating on price terms, agreement of material warranty and discounts with vendors, meet warehouse and purchase operational standards from receiving to delivery of goods, improve operational efficiency across warehouse processes, maintaining budgetary goals, produce routine reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis from ERP system (People soft-FSCM) etc.

• Involved in plant operations from Procurement to Installation & maintenance of equipment and execution of service in compliance with company operating procedures and safety standards. Supported procurement division in parts procurement during maintenance and plant shutdowns
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received. Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and categorize them in order to determine product quality, availability, lead times and terms of sales.
• Planning & scheduling of deliveries for preventive & shutdowns maintenance for continuous operations with the coordination of supply chain manager to minimize shortages and keep costs down.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy for risk minimization. Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
• Responsible for negotiating on price, terms and agreement of material warranty and discounts with vendors
• Supply base management; categorization and profiling on the basis of Quality, cost, delivery & reliability
