We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of WordPress customization, plugin development, website migrations, hosting configurations, and delivering high-quality, user-friendly websites.
Responsibilities:
- Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet specific client requirements.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot custom WordPress plugins.
- Perform website migrations, including domain transfers and hosting setup.
- Ensure website performance, scalability, and security are optimized.
- Manage and configure hosting environments, including setting up SSL and DNS.
- Conduct regular updates, backups, and maintenance for WordPress sites.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to align site functionality with business goals.
- Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (5+ years preferred).
- Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, theme development, and plugins.
- Experience with website migration and hosting platforms like cPanel, Cloudways, etc.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with WooCommerce and other e-commerce integrations.
- Knowledge of APIs and third-party service integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Working Hours:
- Part-time, flexible schedule.
