Deputy Manager/Manager Instrumentation

The Deputy Manager/Manager Instrumentation at Qarshi Industries Pvt Ltd. oversees the implementation and maintenance of all instrumentation and control systems within the organization. This role is critical for ensuring that process control systems, SCADA systems, and automation systems function efficiently and effectively. Utilizing advanced skills in PLC programming, HMI development, and field instrumentation, the selected individual will work to improve operational efficiency and support various engineering projects. This position requires a solid background in Electronic Engineering along with substantial hands-on experience in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate must possess a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and an eagerness to contribute to innovative approaches in instrumentation management.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage the instrumentation team, including engineers and technicians, to ensure optimal performance across all electrical and instrumentation systems.
Supervise instrumentation technicians, ensuring timely troubleshooting, maintenance, and compliance with safety protocols.
Support the instrumentation Engineer in daily operations, assisting with equipment installations and commissioning as needed.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of instrumentation systems to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.
Ensure the continuous, reliable operation of electrical and instrumentation equipment across the plant.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime, maintain system reliability, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Perform or supervise troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on electronic and control systems as required.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and production requirements.
Maintain and calibrate instruments and control systems to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement instrumentation strategies to enhance plant operational efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous, uninterrupted plant operations.
Document all repairs, calibrations, modifications, and maintenance activities to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with industry and regulatory standards
Prepare and manage budgets, oversee the inventory of critical spares, and ensure regulatory compliance for all instrumentation activities.

Education & Experience Required:

BS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
05-08 Years relevant experience, preferably in FMCG Sector
Maximum 40 years of age
