Reports to: Operations Manager/Director

Location: Muridkey

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality control processes of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Control Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

2. Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.

3. Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

4. Defect Identification and Correction: Identify and correct defects in products, and implement corrective actions to prevent future defects.

5. Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and manage the quality of suppliers, including auditing and monitoring their quality control processes.

6. Quality Training: Provide quality training to employees to ensure they understand quality control procedures and requirements.

7. Quality Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track quality metrics, including defect rates, customer satisfaction, and quality costs.

8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to improve quality and efficiency.

9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO standards.

10. Communication: Foster effective communication with employees, suppliers, and customers on quality control matters.

Requirements

1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. (DAE with 15 Years Experience is also eligible)

2. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality control management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.

3. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in quality control planning, auditing, and continuous improvement.

4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Certifications: Certifications in quality management, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), are desirable.

2. Advanced degree: An advanced degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.

3. Industry experience: Experience in a similar Position is preferred.
