Background

Relief International, in partnership with GIZ-SSARC, is implementing a project named MHPSS- DigiLive Support Program in four districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, with the Program Goal of “To strengthen social cohesion and foster enhanced resilience, self-reliance, and psychosocial well-being among Afghan refugees and host communities in Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, and Mardan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. Promoting social cohesion aims to facilitate a dignified life for all individuals”.

To increase the income of Afghan and host male and female entrepreneurs in the program districts, Relief International will enhance the capacity of 350 existing entrepreneurs to utilize digital tools to access untapped markets.

 The proposed individual consultant or firm will develop training content/modules for the identified skills and conduct a Training of Trainers (ToT) session on digital skills for project staff.

 Core Objectives  

  • To develop TOT content/module from account creation to content creation and audience engagement on digital platforms, i.e., YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • To develop TOT manual for Microfinance Banking (Jazz Cash/ Easy Paisa) from account creation to its effective usage. 
  • To orient staff on basic data protection techniques.
  • To design and conduct three days of ToT for Relief International Project Staff on YouTube- from account creation to audience engagement, Facebook- from account creation to content creation and audience engagement, Tik Tok- from account creation to Audience Engagement and Microfinance Banking (Jazz Cash/ Easy Paisa) from account creation to Effective usage, using developed training material, IEC material, Handbook and training manual.

 Expected Result of ToT

By the end of the assignment:

  • Contents/modules will be available in hard for future use for the below skills, 
  • YouTube: from account creation to content creation & audience engagement
  • Facebook: from account creation to content creation &  audience engagement
  • Tik Tok: from account creation to content creation &  audience engagement
  • Easy Paisa from account creation to content creation &  effective usage

 Project staff will be equipped with the training material to deliver the training at the community level. 

Methodology

A participatory and interactive training environment will be created in which plans will be developed based on experience sharing and local examples related to the field. The opportunity for group assignments, interactive presentations, and related case studies will be provided to the participants to link interactive discussions, experience sharing, and presentations. The trainer will focus on his/her role as facilitator and ensure the opportunity given to discuss and practice the taught contents.

 Key Tasks

  • The service provider will be responsible for the following tasks after signing of the contract
  • Develop/submit digital skills content/module development with description. (English/Urdu)
  • Conduct three days-long Staff ToT on the mentioned digital skills
  • Design and conduct pre and post-training assessments for the training participants.
  •  Submission of final training report 

Note: The organization will arrange a training venue, Lunch/ refreshments, stationery for the participants, and other expenses. Master trainers/individuals/consultants/firms will be responsible for boarding, lodging, and travel to training venues in Peshawar KPK.

Payment Schedule:

The Master Trainer/individual/consultants/firms will receive payment as per the following deliverables;

  • 30% at the time of signing of contract
  • 50% after the module submission, sessions, and assessments.
  • 20% on submission of final reports

Eligibility Criteria for Master Trainer/individual/consultants/firms

Required Qualification in:

Masters’ (Business Administration/Marketing/Digital Communications) from a HEC-recognized University.

Required Experience

  • Five years’ experience in the Enterprise/ Entrepreneurship/ Skills Development Industry.
  • Three years’ in Capacity building training and evaluations.
  • Experience working for skills development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
  • Experience in Module Development for trainers and communities.

Required Skill (s) in:

Required Language (s)

  •  Professional proficiency in Pashto (Writing & Speaking)
