Responsible for purchasing plastic granules, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
1. Source and purchase plastic granules from suppliers.
2. Negotiate prices, lead times, and payment terms.
3. Ensure suppliers meet quality and quantity requirements.
Supply Chain Management:
1. Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts.
2. Coordinate logistics, transportation, and storage.
3. Ensure timely delivery of plastic granules.
Quality Control:
1. Conduct quality checks on received materials.
2. Collaborate with quality assurance teams.
Communication:
1. Liaise with sales, production, and logistics teams.
2. Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers.
Market Research:
1. Monitor market trends and prices.
2. Identify new suppliers and opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
2. 2-5 years of procurement/purchasing experience.
3. Knowledge of plastic industry and market trends.
4. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
5. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Desirable Skills:
1. Certification in procurement or supply chain management.
2. Experience with plastic granules or raw materials.
3. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
1. Work in an office environment.
2. Occasional travel to suppliers or manufacturing sites.
Working Hours:
1. Standard business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM9).
2. Extra sitting may be required during peak periods.
