You will be working closely with a great team of people with many years’ industry experience who are supportive, collaborative and very inclusive.
You will play a crucial role in supporting senior management by providing insightful financial analysis, developing financial models, and assisting in strategic planning. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Work closely with business leaders to provide business insights and develop financial KPIs
- Produce financial analysis for projects for ad hoc reporting
- Review and support the development of business cases which require investment
- Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data for budgeting and forecasting
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Prepare and produce reports and recommendations on financial performance for regular business/leadership reviews
- Assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations based on analysis
- Identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Create a set or standard reports to inform critical business decisions containing financial information and data to ensure business decisions are in line with business objectives
What we’ll need from you:
- Considerable experience in financial analysis, financial planning or related roles
- Proficiency in financial modelling, advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting
- Experience in the technology or energy sector would be a distinct advantage
